DUB-JFK return on new A330-300. The overall experience was excellent with new cabin interiors and angled lie-flat seat offering good comfort for sleeping & dining. In the angled lie-flat position, the seats are comfortable for sleeping despite the slope. There is an excellent AVOD system in Business class with a wide choice - a slight difference in choice available when travelling eastbound from the US. Cabin staff on both flights outstanding, food excellent with ample choice available.

JFK-DUB-NAP return. Aer Lingus out to Naples for our honeymoon. JFK-DUB and return on a new A330. Personal IFE, great movie selection on the return. Power ports between every seat towards the floor - supported US/UK/Euro plugs. I'm 6'2" and the legroom was adequate, food was solid. DUB-NAP was a 3 hour flight on an A320. Got there and returned on time, which is all we needed for that leg of the journey. When we checked in at JFK, we got our boarding passes for both legs of the journey. On the return, Naples Airport personnel could only give us the NAP-DUB boarding passes. Because we only had 90 mins we didn't know if we would have to get our bags, exit the airport, and then check-in again. When we got off the plane though, Aer Lingus staff let us know that we had to go to the end of the baggage claim area to get our boarding passes for the JFK flight. Wish that process was smoother.

Gatwick to Faro return. Outbound flight left 25 minutes late because of complications on the ground, and inbound left 15 minutes late due to late boarding. Flight attendants on both flights were helpful and friendly, cabin was clean and seats were comfortable.

Horrible customer service - rude and impatient flight attendants both ways from JFK to DUB and returning from SNN to JFK. Scolded publicly for attempting to use the "premier class" toilet when a long queue was thwarting my effort to use the other toilet. Was told I could wait in line with everyone else or wait to go when I reached JFK (5 hours later). Nice touch!

JFK-DUB return. Excellent service both ways. Crew seemed stretched, but friendly and attentive. Comfortable, modern cabin, with an excellent choice of movies. I have flown Aer Lingus many times, and despite this challenging time for them, they seem to be getting their act together.

No matter the price, I will pay to fly a different airline. I flew France to Ireland then to the US and both flights were the worst of my life. The flight attendants seemed to have a vendetta against the customers, seats were incredibly uncomfortable (they actually had cigarette trays), bathrooms were filthy, and even though I flew with them for 18 hours I only received one meal.

Gatwick to Malaga return. Flight was late leavingand there is no option to check-in online for flights ex LGW. The cheapest option at GBP75 is classier than Easyjet, with reserved seats.

ZRH-LGW Economy. The flight was full, but service pleasant if perfunctory, with food for purchase as a low cost carrier. The plane was clean, legroom limited with tight seat pitch. A favourable first impression of Aer Lingus considering the CHF15 ticket price.

Manchester to Cork return. Aircraft clean, polite and attentive FAs and newish aircraft on both flights. Outbound flight on time, inbound flight an hour late. For GBP38 return on a weekend flight, one really can't complain.

LGW-MUC return. A welcome competitor for the low cost sector. Booked their promotional £9.99 deal. You can reserve your seat online so no manic rush to board the plane. Both flights on time, modern A320's. The food and drinks onboard are reasonably priced, seats recline. The crew were friendly.

Just went from New York to Ireland. My return trip was excellent but the flight to Ireland was the worst I ever had. Aer Lingus chartered an OMNI airlines plane which not only the dirtiest plane I have been on in my 25 years flying but also had reading lights not working at various parts of the plane which caused unrest on how the rest of the plane was maintained. There is no way that any official from Aer Lingus looked at this plane prior to the flight as the would not have let their passengers on it.

Dublin to JFK on 6/19/09 cancelled due to "technical difficulties". Horrible customer service trying to get rescheduled. They also advised that they had no responsibility for the money that I had to pay for my USA flights that had to be rebooked even though Aer Lingus nor Jet Blue serve the city into which I flew.

LGW-MUC-LGW with two of us paying a total of under £68 including pre-booking one bag. Excellent value for money, both flights nearly full but left and arrived on time, attentive cabin crew, one year old A320 with lots of leg room, what more is there to ask except perhaps a more accessible check-in area than Zone B at LGW?

LGW-FAO-LGW. Used on line check-in & then dropped bags at airport which was quick & easy. A320 & Departed on time both ways.. On board seating was fine (6A) & service was good but excellent on the way home. They didn't try & sell you goods all the way through the flight. Staff were efficient & helpful. On board Sky Cafe was reasonable value for money, £2 Coffee & £4 for a hot pannini. Overall a very pleasant flight & would certainly use then again.
