I have recently made two return flights from Waterford to Luton accompanied by my 95 year old
Mother. I was impressed with the kindness and efficiency of the Waterford special assistance
staff. The electronic chair lift used to put her into the plane was perfect as she is unable
to climb steep stairs. On arrival in Luton Airport, on both occasions, the situation was
completely reversed. The staff exhibited unprofessional behaviour.

DUB-CFN-DUB. I use this route about 6 times a year and its excellent. Its a lifeline for the
local community in west Donegal. The online check-in option is brilliant and the domestic gate
through Dublin Airport makes the experience all the more special and seamless. On my most
recent flight I was unable to meet the departure time as my flight into Dublin was delayed;
what I thought was lovely was the phone call I received from Aer Arann to see where I was as
they knew I had done online check in. Now that's a professional service. On another trip my
flight into Dublin only gave me 20 mins to get from the end of gate D, through the baggage
area, through security and onto the flight. I made it and again because I did the online check
in option the staff were expecting me and they held the flight for me for 3 mins. Thanks Aer
Arann and please go from strength to strength.

DUB-CFN. Using online check in was easy and convenient. Aircraft boarded and departed on time
and the stewardess gave announcements in both English and Gaelic which I thought was a lovely
touch. Only a 45 minute flight so a quick run down the aisle with the food trolley was more
than adequate service. The ATR42 aircraft was in acceptable condition considering it was built
in 1986. Airfares booked well in advance so very reasonable pricewise. Aer Arann deserves more
business than it probably gets, its product is miles ahead of FR's and EI's. Will continue to use again.

LTN-GWY-LTN. I fly this route four or five times a year and would now never consider taking
the Ryanair option to Shannon or Knock. Aer Arann have very friendly staff both at checkin
and on board. The ATRs, while noisy, are comfortable, clean and seem to be very reliable, I
always found Aer Arann's on time performance to be fantastic. If you live in the West but not
near Shannon then the benefits in time saved and hassle free travel make them an easy choice.
Highly recommend them.

LDY-DUB-LDY. Outbound flight superb, used online check in and Derry Airport was a breeze to go
through. Left on time. Onboard service excellent from the single FA, and flight deck kept us
up to date. Return flight on an ATR72 not as good however. One flight attendant and did not
have good English, and at times she was quite rude, perhaps unintentionally, although the
other flight attendant was an older lady and lovely. Flight was terrible though, takeoff from
DUB quite worrying and the landing in Derry could have been mistaken for being shot down. I
use Aer Arann on a regular basis and would not be deterred by this bad experience, as it is an
excellent regional carrier.

LTN-WAT-LTN. Very swift check in with hold bag. Flight departed on time despite some very
inclement local weather. Slightly scary ATR 42 aircraft showing all of its 20 years of age but
still acceptable for this regional flight. Excellent cabin service from the single FA
including distribution of free Irish newspaper. On time at Waterford. Return flight on new ATR
72 500 aircraft with much improved cabin interior and reduced engine noise. Once again, cabin
service polite and efficient.

LDY-DUB-LDY. Both ways check in fast with friendly staff. Had to check in my small case which
would pass as hand luggage on larger aircraft, but no bother as luggage delivered promptly.
ATR 42s are showing their age. However, still very pleasant flights, both ways arrival 10mins
ahead of schedule. Cabin crew were friendly and pleasant chat from the flight deck.

Dublin to Cardiff. Check-in at Dublin airport was fast, and staff were friendly. FA's were
very pleasant. The only real downside with Aer Arann is that some of their planes are old and
very noisy and also on this trip a number of the tables were not very clean. It is a pity
that they do not offer some sort of free drink or snack on board like Air France City Jet as
they then would not come into the real low-cost model of Aer Lingus or even worse Ryanair.
The airline has a lot to offer and this small change would make a difference as not everybody
likes the low-cost model in operation these days and it is nice to have a choice even if one
has to pay a few euros extra!

DUB-LDY on evening departure which only cost £25 each. Online check in done 3 days before
departure a breeze! Security at Dublin Airport very quiet, boarding quick and organised.
ATR72-500 was showing signs of its age. Both flight attendants were friendly and attentive,
and flight deck kept us well informed. Buy on board service reasonably priced with an
excellent selection. Immigration procedures at Derry a breeze.

CWL-DUB-CWL. Reasonable all round, however the approaches and landings in the ATR's are a
little unnerving, even for me and I fly every week. Embarkation etc a breeze, and the flight
was well priced given the timings. Little to fault although the hostess on my outgoing flight
was miserable!

Dublin-Isle of Man return. Flights comfortable and quick. Check-in, boarding and baggage claim
a breeze. An added treat was the new ATR-72/500 jet on the return leg which was gleaming new
inside and very comfortable. Very pleasant British and French cabin crew. Only problem is that
Aer Arann tends to be expensive and this 25-minute return shuttle cost me €360, which is
exorbitant to say the least. Then again, as the only airline connecting Ireland and the Isle
of Man, they can essentially charge what they like and I was surprised to see that the flights
were relatively busy, so it appears that the prices are obviously not keeping people away.

Manchester to Galway on 7/08/09 and somewhat disappointed at the appearance of the plane. The
crew were very attentive, but what a lovely surprise for our return on one of the new fleet of
planes. Very stylish and comfortable and a totally different experience.

Dublin-Derry-Dublin on an ATR42 aircraft. Check-in fine and no queues. Bag tagged to LDY and
received boarding card with allocated seating. Left Dublin early. One cabin crew, very
professional and carried out the BOB service. Flight was full. Landed into Derry ahead of
schedule. Return check-in was slow in LDY as people had to get their umbrellas tagged to DUB.
19 passengers for the short hop down to DUB. Aircraft again an ATR42. the cabin crew member
did not have good English and the safety announcement was just about audible and
comprehensible. She served tea and coffee to everyone, apart from me and people in the second
last and last row. Then just vanished for the rest of the flight. Strange.

Used several times now on the Luton-Galway run. Never had a bad experience - crew always
smile, are friendly, welcoming. Have always run very well to time.

LCY-IOM. Great friendly service , great smiling crew and good inflight service. Very punctual
in new ATR 72. Only possible improvement could be on line check in for those with hold
luggage.

Birmingham - Waterford. I have never had any problems on this route. Service with a smile,
efficient and fast. Delays have been minimal and both airports are a joy to use compared to
others in the UK and Ireland.

DUB-ORK ATR72, good price, pickable seats and on line check in placed them ahead of the train on
this trip, as I needed to be in ORK time critical. The friendly staff who gave us free coffee
(normally chargeable) , a nice smile and had us away and on the ground 10 minutes ahead of schedule.
brought back good memories of NZ/QF turbo prop services. Only had hand luggage but I would not
hesitate to use them again.

Cardiff - Dublin. Checked in online 3 days before so boarding was very quick - was able to choose my
seat. Flight left on time and arrived 15 minutes early. 2 x flight attendants - 1 quite pleasant, 1
quite disinterested. Half full flight - refreshments were served very quickly. Nice touch of a free
newspaper and allocated seating - much more civilised than Ryanair who used to fly this route. Hope
the return flight this evening is just as pleasant.

Aer Arann commuter flight Dublin - Galway 18.30, 11th Nov 2008. Arrived at check in desk 20 mins
before departure, following delay in connecting flight from Malaga, fully expecting it to be closed,
but worth trying to avoid 4 hour delay waiting for the next flight. I was met with courtesy by Aer
Arann staff and very kindly allowed to board the flight at the last minute. As a frequent traveller,
I cannot remember when I was last treated so well.

Cork - Belfast City Airport return. A day return trip with Aer Arann, and the flights could only be
described as ok. Both flights were on time, but the crew on both legs were extremely robotic and
frosty. Not once did I observe the crew taking time to warmly greet passengers when boarding the
aircraft, nor did I see the crew smile once. The staff were also very poorly turned out, and didn't
look very professional. The aircraft was comfortable, with ok leg room.

Excellent friendly and punctual service. Manchester to Waterford return. Managed to get a drink
inflight and didn't have to pay for luggage (unlike Ryanair). Also received a seat number (unlike
Ryanair). Will use them again.

CFN-DUB. Very nice trip - check in effortless at the small airport. Free newspaper a nice touch and
arrival into Dublin was as smooth as you could want. Only gripe was the flight attendant went really
overboard with the cosmetics - it was distracting! Of course that is no fault of the airline. dire
Aer Lingus.

Derry-Dublin Return. Flight slightly delayed out of Derry on Friday evening. Staff very efficient,
courteous and friendly. De-planing and baggage claim at Dublin effortless. It's the simple things
that count - a free newspaper and no baggage fees. Nice to have an Irish airline that looks after
its passengers.
