Flew for first time Southend-Dublin return and have to say that from check-in to arrival (both ways) it was a most
enjoyable experience because of the fast /courteous manner/lack of drama they handle the whole process of
travelling. Flight was a turbo prop and took 1hr 45mins each way and now that Aer Arran operate out of T2 Dublin
it makes this an easy/cost effective alternative to LGW/LHR for long haul flight connections.

Day trip to Dublin from Southend on quite old ATR42-300. Service punctual both ways and in flight attendant
also good on both legs. However the noise the plane makes is somewhat deafening especially when seated
in row 3, so hopefully they will replace these old planes with something less noisy. Otherwise a good all
round experience.

Aer Aran are probably the most inept European airline I have had the frustration to travel with, the flight from
Glasgow to Cork is a travellers nightmare, always late, no information, staff that hide in embarrassment and
are misinformed. If you have a choice travel with any other airline it will save you time and money in the end.

London Southend to Dublin day return. Both flights departed on time and arrived early. Aircraft had been
recently refurbished and were in immaculate condition, and also seemed quieter than before. Superb service
at London Southend, with no queues for check in or security. Cabin crew on board were of the highest calibre,
being friendly and helpful. All in all the whole experience was pleasant and civilised, a far cry to other
options.

I've been flying between the UK and Waterford (Ireland) a couple of times a month for the last 2.5 years and
9 out of 10 times the flight is late. On my last flight I checked in, asked if the flight was on time (I've
learned to do this now!) and was told it was. 2 mins later I looked at the departure board and it was delayed
by an hour. 5 mins later again it was delayed by 2 hours! Then it went back to an hour. Even when there
aren't major delays you're usually about 20 mins late taking off. I'd fly with a different airline but it's the only
one that goes to Waterford. When flights are too expensive I go into Cork and drive to Waterford - that's
happening more often these days!

SEN-DUB-SEN, on ATR42-300, day return trip. Delay departing SEN by 2.5 hours due to crew not turning up,
another crew called out of standby. Delay not handled very well, were already pre-boarded and then sent
back to the terminal. Second time pre-boarded 10 minutes before crew even turned up to the a/c. Once on
board a/c old but very well maintained. Standard buy onboard service. On the way back delayed in departure
but only by 20 minutes, made up time. Service excellent, sole cabin crew very friendly, polite and smiley.
Snack/drinks reasonably priced. Would probably fly out of LGW/LHR as flight time on jet plane much shorter
and quieter. As only one a/c based in SEN any delay has potential for knock-on effect.

DUB-BHX. My first flight with this carrier through their Aer Lingus codeshare. The plane looked extremely old
on the inside, not well kept and did not leave a good impression. I was glad I only had a 45 min flight. The
crew and attendants were fine. We got bounced around a fair amount during the decent to BHX. I don't
mind it but I could easily see how it could put some people off who are nervous flyers. Not to mention them
having to place people in certain seats to keep the balance correct which is normal for these type planes.

Southend-Waterford-Southend. The outgoing flight was transferred to Luton, due to failure of Southends de-
icing equipment. The return flight however, was to Southend with no help offered to retrieve my car from
Luton, seemed that was my problem. We had to return a day early to get back to Luton. The aircraft was ok,
onboard staff friendly and efficient, but no staff to talk to about our problem at any point. Very poor for
customer support.

Isle of Man to Dublin at 10am. Delayed for hours, then cancelled, given the run around for reasons. New flight
was at 8pm, and that was delayed 2 hours. The plane seemed was old. The trays in front of seats were
ripped off or scraped up. Attendants not informed or allowed to give reasons for delays. Seems quite obvious
that they frequently cancel flights and most likely for flights to be fuller. They don't care about passengers
travelling Internationally trying to connect flights or make hotel reservations. No compensation, except 7
pound voucher for food for 8+hour delay at Ronaldsway. I will now only travel via London when I travel from
New York to the Isle of Man.

My family fly regularly between the UK and Dublin/Cork. Having had the experience of the airbus A320 aircraft
on the MAN-ORK route and this route now being operated by Aer Arann under the Aer Lingus franchise
agreement the service leaves a lot to be desired. They regularly fly the route late and then cancel the flight
altogether. My wife was booked to fly last Friday 4th Nov MAN-ORK and we received a text to say the flight
was running 4 hours late. I managed with the help of a co-operative man from Aer Lingus to change her to
the following day flight on Sat at 0900. You simply cannot rely on Aer Arann for on time departures or indeed
sometimes departures at all.

Manchester to Shannon. Boarded 20 mins prior to departure. Plane was new, with lots of empty seats. Air
hostesses friendly, and allowed me to move seats to sit near the window. Smooth flight and we landed 5 mins
early. Return, the plane was an Aer Arann plane, unlike the Aer Lingus regional plane normally on this service, plane
was old and tatty, seats were tearing away. A male cabin crew was fake and rude when faced with problems.

London City - IOM and return. Service both ways by Scot Airways in a Dornier 328 and they did well - on time both
ways and with a very pleasant attitude. My only complaint was a very last minute charge of £12 for using my debit
card which probably cost Aer Arran about 50p, but the flight itself was just fine.

What a let down yet again, Birmingham to Waterford flights delayed yet again due to problems in London. We have
booked 3 times this year and delays every time. My mother who is 75 has now been told that her 9.45 flight this
evening has been delayed yet again until at least 12.15. No matter how much you complain they have your
money so they are not bothered.

crew, and very swift disembarking on arrival at Carrickfin, wonderful experience.

IOM-DUB; normal ATR substituted by by Dornier 328, less than half the 30 seat taken. For a 22
minute flight, cannot be faulted.

London Southend to Waterford and back. Southend easy to use with free parking. One check in
desk and security made it as slow as a larger airport. ATR 42 was tatty and dirty outside, and
tatty but clean inside. No headrest covers, battered and worn seats and clearly well used. Plane
full both ways but adequate room and overhead locker space. On time departures and arrivals in
both directions. Outward service was better with a free paper, friendly flight stewardess and better
safety briefing and cabin check. On the return, no paper and a lack lustre cabin check for take off
and landing by the steward with seats reclined and people using electronic equipment. An ok selection
of food and drink given the size of the plane and much better value than some of the other low cost
carriers! Though travelling to / from Cork, the flight was value for money (even with a hire car for
the journey to/from Cork) and I'd use it again on the basis of cost and convenience.

Southend-Waterford-Southend. Check in was a breeze, aircraft ATR 42 looked well used, leg room
ample for a short flight, staff very friendly. Real bonus on the return was that from the
landing I was back home within 10 mins after a short car ride.

We travelled the week before Christmas to Eurodisney on a family long weekend. Unfortunately
on the return journey our flight from London City to the Isle of Man was cancelled due to the
snow disruption. Aer Arann were wonderful, we were a party of 13 people, including a
wheelchair patient and young children. Our hotel, taxis, evening meal and breakfast were all
provided free of charge and we eventually departed for home the following afternoon.
Wonderful service that needed acknowledging.

We braved air travel for the first time with our autistic son plus older sister. While in
Ireland, my wife was left temporarily bedridden by sciatica. A total disaster mitigated by the
outstanding level of service provided by Aer Arann. On the way there they could not do enough
to ensure the flight went smoothly, providing priority boarding at Luton and assistance. On
the way back from Waterford they did the same and came to the aid of my wife with wheelchair
assistance. Incredibly kind and solicitous - a template for customer care.

Have always flown Aer Arann from Birmingham to Waterford and never had problems, service good.
Disappointed to learn that Aer Arann has jumped on the bandwagon and charging for checked in
luggage for UK and France flights - because customer feedback tells them that they would
rather have more allowance than the normal 15kg and be willing to pay for 20kgs. My bag is
never over 15kgs but I have to pay an extra £16 now to check in luggage. Who are these
customers they have been asking - I am a frequent flyer with them but have not been asked my
opinion.

Staff on board great with the kids and offered lots of assistance. Return leg equally
excellent experience. Highly recommend the extra cost over Ryanair who don't care.

I have recently made two return flights from Waterford to Luton accompanied by my 95 year old
Mother. I was impressed with the kindness and efficiency of the Waterford special assistance
staff. The electronic chair lift used to put her into the plane was perfect as she is unable
to climb steep stairs. On arrival in Luton Airport, on both occasions, the situation was
completely reversed. The staff exhibited unprofessional behaviour.

DUB-CFN-DUB. I use this route about 6 times a year and its excellent. Its a lifeline for the
local community in west Donegal. The online check-in option is brilliant and the domestic gate
through Dublin Airport makes the experience all the more special and seamless. On my most
recent flight I was unable to meet the departure time as my flight into Dublin was delayed;
what I thought was lovely was the phone call I received from Aer Arann to see where I was as
they knew I had done online check in. Now that's a professional service. On another trip my
flight into Dublin only gave me 20 mins to get from the end of gate D, through the baggage
area, through security and onto the flight. I made it and again because I did the online check
in option the staff were expecting me and they held the flight for me for 3 mins. Thanks Aer
Arann and please go from strength to strength.
