MXP-ATH-MXP. Flight attendants smiling and in Y-Class you get a hot main meal (pasta) - both ways
- which was very good. From mid May, they will start 2 daily flights from STN-ATH with their new A-
321. To Italy they still use the 733 or 734.

Another good experience on flights operated by Aegean, this time MXP-ATH-SKG and back. Actually it
was the first time that I had a connecting flight between Aegean Airlines' flights through ATH and
it worked pretty good. Some delays due to airport traffic where handled promptly by the ground
personnel and on board there was a first round of beverages - soft drinks, wines, tea or coffee and
snacks and then another round with more drinks and warm good food on the MXP-ATH and back parts. And
this was economy class, putting the products of bigger European airlines into shame. The personnel
is always young and sometimes a bit inexperienced but they are always friendly and answer
immediately to any inquiries and cabin crew calls from passengers on board. During Christmas
holidays we were even treated to traditional Greek delicacies offered several times on board their
flights both on European and domestic sectors. Take away the surly staff at check in on departure
from SKG and it could be full score.

flight was on time.

Larnaca-Athens and back in economy class. My elderly mother who is partially sighted travelled alone
and needed staff assistance. When I booked her flight online I called the Aegean Customer Service
who then recorded it on their system. After checking in the luggage, which was labelled priority so
it would come out first the other end, we waited about 15mins max for a member of staff. The member
of staff came for my mother who assured me she would be looked after all the way through the journey
right until the point where she was to be met by my brother in Athens. On her return I went to
collect her from Larnaca Airport and to true their word she had a member of staff with her when I
met her. This is the first time my mother has travelled alone since she became partially sighted,
therefore, it was a very nervous experience all around. However, the staff were absolutely fantastic
both ends. She was very well looked after and had nothing but praise for the them. It certainly has
put our mind at rest for any future flights. Well done Aegean Airlines for an excellent service.

LCA-ATH-FCO return. Flights on time or close to time, planes clean and well-maintained; good
information from the flight deck, and efficient and professional FA's. Inflight catering was always
cold meat cuts, but fresh warm rolls were always offered, with complimentary drinks. Excellent
regional airline with professional crews.

RHO-ATH Booked my flight on the web, e-ticket available as well as e-check-in but I didn't use this
facility as its only for travelling with hand baggage only. Had to change my date of travel which was
easy and efficient although not available to do online but you can ring the reservations line and they
will do it for you with no problem. This also depends what ticket you purchased as some cheaper
tickets are restricted and unchangable. Flight left on-time, crew were cheerful, attentive and
professional. Light refreshments and peanuts served on a 45 min flight and landed 15 mins early into
ATH. Overall, the best airline in Greece to fly with, which beats Olympic hands down.

20 June 2007
Larnaca-Athens-Sofia and back in Business Class. Full breakfast on both
outward flights, and full dinner on both return legs. Particularly
impressive, as Sofia-Athens is a one hour flight. LCA-ATH-LCA in
737-200, with 3-3 seating in C-Class, albeit with the middle seat not
allocated. Sadly, whilst there is a fold-down table in the middle seats,
the armrests on the two outside seats are left in place, so there is no
width gained as compared with economy. Athens-Sofia-v.v. in RJ100, with
3-2 seating, so fairly cramped conditions. However, very attentive and
keen-to-please FAs on all flights. Transit at Athens ariport a pain,
with demands to see your passport even when entering the transit area,
then again at security and finally once more at the gate.

Dusseldorf to Thessaloniki. Friendly ground staff, quick check-in,
flight departed on time. Comfortable seating, friendly crew and
excellent food and beverages offered during the flight. In summary, a
very pleasant experience and I will certainly use this airline again
when flying to Greece.

The flights I book more often with Aegean are Frankfurt-Thessaloniki,
Thessaloniki-Frankfurt. The ground and onboard service is excellent.
They offer great value for money that low-cost carriers cannot compete
(at least on routes between Germany and Greece). The interior of the
B737s show signs of wear, but seat configuration in economy class is
comfortable. The cabin crew is polite. The demonstration of the
aircraft's safety features in the German language needs an improvement
(it is always too rush and not very easily understandable). Highly
recommended for flights to Greece.

ATH-RHO-ATH, Economy class. Pleasant experience on the ground and in the
air. Comfortable seats (had to squeeze in a bit on the first leg, but no
problem on the return), efficient and smiling attendants. Had to wait a
bit for the luggage in Rhodes, though. Overall a very pleasant
experience, and e-ticketing is a very big plus.

Usually the staff of Aegean Airlines both on the ground and in the air
are among the most helpful and understanding people. There have been
many times where I have been travelling from Athens coming from abroad
with a different ticket and a different airline and with a domestic
flight with Aegean out and in again of Athens. In case of late arrivals
where I didn´t have the chance to catch my booked flights or even if I
missed them they were helpful to accomodate me in a later flight without
charging me any fees or for a new ticket. Most of the times I have even
been travelling in the cheaper Economy Class tickets. It is worth
mentioning my most recent experience with Aegean where I had to cancel
one part of a booked through the internet flight from Munich to Greece
in the cheapest Economy Class fare available. I called their customer
service hotline and they provided me all the information needed and
helped me through the whole process. They even advised me to rebook my
flight on the internet in order not to pay any fees aplicable through
booking on the telephone.

I had a return trip with my two daughters using Aegean Airlines from
Athens to Chania (Crete). The return trip, scheduled for 13th January
was cancelled due to bad weather. The ground staff gave me an option of
cancelling my ticket for NO REFUND or booking on the next flight at
10h30 the next day. There was a good chance that my daughters would miss
their connections to London and I would miss my onward connections to
Paris and Johannesburg. Unfortunately the ground staff just shrugged
their shoulders and were less than polite about the entire matter. It is
rather distasteful to have to put up with bad mannered air crew as well
as the stress of trying to get flights sorted out. All tickets were
booked via the Internet, and were not discount or special fare tickets,
but despite this there was no flexibility from Aegean in helping us. I
subsequently booked new flights on Olympic for the next morning at 07h30
to ensure meeting connections. I will not use Aegean again if I can
avoid it, and will not book on-line.

Flown recently for the first time with this airline; route Athens to
Frankfurt. I'm a Lufthansa Frequent Traveller, so I'm used to excellent
service especially on board. Unfortnately Aegean as a codeshare-partner
does not keep up with LH's standards. Aircraft was not clean, leather-
seats partially scuffed and catered food had a strange humid taste. The
announcements couldn't be heard clearly and the stopover in Thessaloniki
is indeed frustrating. I'll think twice next time if I have the options.

Athens-Santorini, one way, Economy. Short 1 hour+ flight. Small plane;
Jet used was AVRD RJ100. Chose to fly with Aegean because it has e-
ticketing while Olympic doesn't. Comfortable leather seats which came as
a big surprise. Service was extremely friendly with warm smiles on all 2
stewardesses. A drink was served and near the end of the journey,
candies was distributed. Very pleasant flight.

A complete contrast to the Olympic Airlines experience. Aegean is a
pleasure to fly. Our Athens-Lesbos flight was on time, service was
carried out with a smile, and leather seats were comfy. Booking was easy
on the user-friendly website. I now always choose Aegean over Olympic,
even if the price is occasionally a few euros higher.

I have travelled 2 times with this airline and I have to say it was
good. Never had delayed flights. As far as the catering is concerned,
it's not perfect but good, all the more so since the flight Brest /
Hérakklion only lasts 3.5 hours. It's a shame the airplanes (Boeing
737-300 and 737-400) are not state-of-the-art. However, Aegean Airlines
will receive A320s in 2008.

My partner and I have a house on Crete and, out of season, are frequent
fliers with Aegean as there are no direct flights from the UK. We always
look forward to this part of the outward and return journey. The leather
seats make up for a lot and we have always found the aircraft clean!
However, our flight on April 8th (A3-316) was due to depart at 13:20 but
did not leave Athens until over one hour later. Page 241 of the Aegean
Air in-flight mag claims that all passengers being delayed by more than
one hour will be offered a ticket free of charge. We have yet to be told
about this - and when we can fly! Perhaps a Customer Services Manager
will read this and get in contact with me.

Athens-Rhodes & Rhodes-Athens in April 2006. Booked on internet in
November 2005. Fare only €118 return including tax. Aegean made minor
changes in flight times but phoned me in the UK to notify me. Both
flights on time. Check in quick & easy. Would recommend. Note: If you
fly into Athens on an international scheduled flight, take your boarding
card to the Aegean desk in Athens airport & get a €12 tax refund.

Alexandropoulis - Athenson. The plane was small, but comfortable, clean. The crew was
helpful, excellent English. Flight duration 1hr so no big meal - only non alcohol
beverages - cola, mineral water, juice and small package of peanuts. Cheap ticket price only 80euro one way.

Brussels-Heraklion-Brussels, a charter flight. Very good value for
money, clean and tidy interiors, food OK and even the wine was offered

For the most part, their planes' interiors are in tip-top condition, although I have noticed
some tired table mechanisms and scuffed leather upholsteries here and there. I've been flying
with them since they started their routes and haven't had a problem with them so far. Flights
are usually on time, baggage handling is rather swift and the catering (refreshments,
sandwiches, sweets) during the flight is of good quality.

August 2005
We purchased e-tickets for a flight from Athens to Mykonos on the 23rd of June, the
departure time scheduled for this flight was 1335 hrs. After a half hour wait, we
were informed by a rather rude lady, that the flight had left at 0940 and offered
no further explanation. We were told to wait in the lengthy ticketing queue, and
after 40 mins we were granted permission for standby tickets, then sent back to the
check in queue for yet another 30 min wait for boarding pass issue for a flight
leaving at 1930 hrs. None of these encounters went well. It just happened to be
the day of an OA workers strike, and conditions at Athens airport were hellish.
Every long awaited conversation with counter staff, was peppered by people coming
up and talking over our shoulder, and there were some serious altercations between
queing passengers. At this point I have to conceed to not checking on the
departure time. We had assumed that any airline would advise it's e-ticket
passengers of major scheduling changes, which is surely their responsibility. They
did, after all, have our purchase and contact details. Aegean seems to be trying
to promote its e-ticketing facility, but maybe they are not yet fully set up to
deliver a complete level of service. A word from a sympathetic Manager would have
gone a long way to ease our frustration with this situation - we did try to speak
to a Manager at the time, but to no avail. On the three flights I did with Aegean,
I found the planes old, the tray table frames rusty, and navy vinyl seat coverings
worn and shabby. To offer a positive, the cabin staff did do well to get
a drink out to everyone on the short flight to Mykonos, which we fortunately did
get on almost eight hours later.

Athens-Santorini-Athens in July 2005 with Aegean. On-time departures and even drink
service on somewhat worn-out Boeing 737-300 aircrafts. However, friendly staff and
overall satisfactory service on these very short flights. Excellent price-service
ratio. By far better than ailing Olympic Airlines.

Just flew ATH-LIN and some short domestic routes between Athens and the islands
(JTR/CHQ). Domestic service is minimal but FAs are really kind and planes are new, clean and on time.
International service is much better than the competition with new aircrafts, warm meals and kind
service.

I flew with Aegean Airlines one-way Dusseldorf to Athens (via SKG) in July 2004 and I must say how
impressed I was with the service. Ticket desk staff were very pleasant, crew were smartly dressed in
their nice uniforms and very welcoming to all passengers. Inflight service was an excellent standard
and food well presented/served by the crew. A short stopover at SKG and we continued onwards to
Athens. I would be happy to recommended Aegean Airlines.

My daughter and I flew from Crete to Athens September 15th. Our luggage wound up in Germany and we
were without for two days in Athens. When it did arrive they said we could come to the airport and
pick it up, this would have cost us 70 euros for cab fare. We were told to submit a request for
compensation which I did September 19th and have yet received no acknowledgement of their receiving
it. I am very disappointed with this service.

Thessaloniki to Athens and back. Despite the fact that both flights were fully
booked, the ground staff as well the flight attendants were friendly and helpful. The flights
departed on-time and I received my luggage within 10 minutes after my arrival. I think that Aegean
Airlines must be supported from all domestic (Greek) passengers, because of the visible efforts of
the company to offer the best service to its customers. I'll fly in December with Aegean to Germany
and I've purchased an e-ticket.

I fly often from Thessaloniki to Athens. For the two 40 min long flight I usually have to pay 200
euro. I think this price is exorbitant for such short flights. This is more than I would pay to go
from Oslo to London or from Paris to Lisbon. When will us Greeks fly in Open Skies just like all
other Europeans do? I have officially complained about this to Aegean Airlines but I never got an
answer, and this is a very unprofessional thing for them to do.

Business Class on Aegean Airlines : SKG - ATH, ARJ100. Aegean's efficient and friendly staff together with wide leather seats made this a comfortable
flight. Business Class seats just the
same as in Economy Class ones 2-3 with 32 inch of leg room and 18 inch wide.
Just after take-off, the Flight Attendant handed out warm tissues.
Catering included soft drinks or coffee. Salmon filet leaves with mozzarella cheese, a salad with
tomatoes, cucumber and olives, fresh fruit salad .
The little Leonida's chocolate was best of them all! Very nice for a 50 minute flight. ATH -
SKG, 737-300.
Seats on the 737-300s are more cramped than the AvroRJs but
considering the length of the flight okay. 3x3 seating with 32 inches of leg room but 17 inches of seat wide. On the 737-400 there is a
separate 2-3 cabin with the same seats used on the Avro RJs but with the same leg room. But this was
a -300 flight. Three large delicious canapes
were served together with the same salad, the same fruits and the same chocolate!
On evening flights alcoholic drinks are also served in Business Class. All this for a 50 minute
flight and a 237 euro return fare isn't it great?

I recently flew Aegean Airlines on the 27th Sept, Newcastle to Corfu, in the rearmost seats on
their 737. I was dismayed at the lack of courtesy of the stewardess's on the flight, and when the
food ran out before they reached us, I couldn't believe it - no explanation, no apology. The flight home, on 11th Oct, was excellent.

I had the opportunity to fly from Rome to Athens and back over the 5th of May long weekend. I was
impressed by the courteous ground service, by the on time departure and the stylish & classical look

because they're really doing their best to bring back the good old "service" that makes the
difference !

I flew to Rhodes and I believe that one kind of beverage or juice is much enough for such a short
flight. I felt sorry for the hostesses as they were obliged to serve us
continuously during the flight. More than this, I saw the same staff when I returned to Athens the same
night. The owners of
the company must be sick to put their staff under such pressure. I can have an opinion on this
because I have worked as an air hostess before. I admired the staff as they looked fresh and
smiling after what they were going through. Apart from
this, Aegean is far beyond the competition in Greek airline market.
