SUB-BDJ. Check-in at newly open New Juanda Airport (it's still only 5
days since it moved from the old Juanda Airport) was very chaotic,
counter display was off, long unorganized queue, very slow check in
process, staff still not customized with the new systems. Departure
delayed for more than 1,5 hours without any official announcement. After
approached the staff at the gate, knew the reason, the Capt had not
arrived yet - because he hadn't get any flight schedule for this flight!
I know KI is a low cost carrier, so delayed is a common thing. But this
was a first time for me to have a delayed flight because of this very
ridiculous reason! Seat on this B737-200 was as usual, old, shabby and
cramped. FA did everything to help and faster the boarding process.
Average, not bad for a LCC, except for the ridiculous reason for the
delay!!

JKT-SIN return. World cup atmosphere was obvious - attendants dressed in football
uniforms from the participating world cup teams. Planes were clean enough. Rotiboy bread was served
on both ways. Boarding and landing music was like dance / pop tune. It was pretty young hip sporty
atmosphere. Check-in was swift and good on-time performance. Seat pitch was quite stingy but it was
okay for 1.5 hr flight. Good value for the money.

Took a flight Jakarta - Surabaya. The services was good. The seats are
comfort. The plane was at least newer than Lion and Batavia. Food was
quite poor. Only mineral water and some bread.
