No jetways, small lounges, very small check in counters and smoking allowed everywhere (among other things). This airport was already outdated the day it was first opened. With so many domestic daily flights and international ones to Miami, Bogota, Aruba, etc. it is a shame the industrial heartland of this country has such a pitiful airport.
