MAN-ARN-TLL-ARN-MAN. Flew in with Estonian Air. Newly build small terminal building, well appointed. 9
Airbridges connected to the terminal building. Arriving and Departing passengers mix within the terminal.
Baggage Reclaim very quick. Check-in and Security on the return both very quick with little queuing. A very
good selection of shops airside including some local products/produce. Free WiFi in the whole of the airport
complex. There is a small cafe in on the landside of the terminal which overlooks the Baggage Reclaim area
through a glass wall. Terminal very clean and modern looking with friendly staff and small distances to walk
from Check-in to aircraft.

What a great airport, this kind of airport makes flying almost enjoyable. Bright, airy with a good range of
shops and friendly staff, signage (in Estonian and English) is also excellent. Arrived from Riga and
domestically from Kuressaare - both times luggage was on the carousel by the time passengers reached it.
There is also a dedicated Estonian Air bus which leaves every 20 mins, looping around most of the city's
hotels for just 2 eur. This airport is a pleasure to use.

My husband and I travelled from Stockholm to Kiev with Tallinn as the intermediate stop. Our outward journey was
uneventful, we quickly located the Transit desk, staff were helpful. On the return we had to go through Passport
control, wait in a queue for 20 mins, after which we had to pass through Security for the second time before
arriving at the Transit desk. We had bought a bottle of spirits in Kiev that was confiscated, on the outward journey
we were allowed to take spirits into the airport and onward but on the return a completely different system was in
operation. W were advised to reclaim our baggage, check-in again with the spirits packed in the bag. As we only
had 30 mins before our flight left this was obviously not an option. We were not the only passengers confounded
by this scam to confiscate alcohol.

Airport is one of the best little airports in Europe. It has free Internet, some very nice
dining opportunities (with cheap prices), helpful staff and short queuing times. Probably
shopping opportunities might be lower than in some larger airports, but overall it is one of
the most efficient airports that I have used.

Tallinn (Lennart Meri) Airport has vastly improved. It was renovated and rebuilt 2008 and even
though it is still a very small one, it has a feel of lightness and air to it. Instructions
are clear, there are several smoking rooms, recreational areas for children and food is above
average. Takes less than 15min to walk from the check in to the furthest gate. Free wireless
coverage. NOT so nice is the factor that the only 24/7 cafes are located in the general hall -
making it a bit boring night wait for those checked in.

Flew Brussels - Tallinn return in May 2010. I post this as there has been no post on this
airport for two years! There is a frequent (every 20/30 mins) bus service no. 2 from outside
the airport into the city centre, stops close to the Old Town. Fare is 20 EEK, whereas a taxi
is EEK 100. Bus journey time is 20/25 mins. in rush hour. Airport is clean and compact with easy check-in.

Used Tallin airport last weekend. Is a fantastic little airport, very quiet, clean and efficient.
For people who have time on hand after check in, just go out of the airport from the arrivals area
and cut across the lawn and the airport parking lot towards the city and walk for a couple of
minutes and you are in Hotel Ullmiste forecourt. Besides the hotel is a large shopping mall, with
plenty of dining, great shopping and entertainment facilities. This is very welcome as Tallinn
airport does not have much by the way of shopping or dining.

I used Tallinn inbound on 08 Sep and outbound on 12 Sep and for a small airport it is nigh on
perfect; efficient, quiet, clean, light and reasonably well provided with facilities to cater for
the modest demands currently being placed on it. Two tips; if you are traveling to the UK (usually
gate 12) wait until you are that end of the pier and then do your shopping, prices are lower than in
the 'duty-free' shop in the main concourse. Secondly, check out the wonderful old Soviet-era
terminal on the far side of the apron for a reminder of how things used to be.

Tallinn airport is great, very clean and quiet. It has to be the quickest of any airport I've been
to for getting through immigration and getting baggage - the bar is a little bit on the pricey side,
but all said its a fab gateway to one of the worlds most beautiful and fun cities.

TLL is a medium, modern and clean airport. Baggage delivery is quick. The pier extension opened on
March 30th, with now six Schengen and eight Non-Schengen gates. Transfer by bus into the city centre
takes only 15-20min, but the timetable is a bit confusing. Bus line 2 runs APPROXIMATELY every
25min. It is cheaper to buy tickets at the R-kiosk located in the check-in area than directly from
the driver. If you depart early morning or around 3pm, come well in advance as queues at security
are quite long then.

Clean, very helpful employees, no hassles. At the arrivals hall, everything was within steps of each
other, ATM, Bank, Tourist info office, where you can buy the Tallinn Card. A cab to the old town is
so cheap by the european standards.

Two things that struck me on arrival into Tallinn airport was how incredibly small it was but
also how clean. There are only six parking gates for aircraft so hardly any distance to walk to
the baggage reclaim area. Transfer time to the city is 5-10 minutes depending on where you are
staying ( the airport itself is only a couple of kilometres from the city centre. ) There is not
much in the way of entertainment on departure ( one duty free shop and a very expensive cafe bar
) but the airport is quiet as it only has a handful of flights operating into and out of it. A
pretty decent airport all round I would say and only a stones throw away from a fabulous city.

Excellent small airport. Arrived from Berlin, and collected luggage and left the terminal building
within 15 minutes of de-boarding. One downer is that there seems to be just one (!) cash-point in
the main terminal area, so when a flight has just landed, and no-one has money you have to wait.
Good gateway to a great little city.

The airport is still small and quiet, although if you're departing with Estonian Air be prepared for
some queuing. The currency exchange desk airside charges no commission, compared to a whopping 10%
at the commercial one landside.

A very small, clean and wonderful airport. The only busy time for this
airport is during the summer tourist season. The rest of the year, you
can arrive at the airport 20 minutes before your flight and check-in,
pass thru security, passport control and still have time for a quick
drink.

Tallinn airport - it's so small and peaceful!
No matter what time you fly it's always empty, no queues no hassle and great deal in the duty free!
The only problem is to find ground staff that is not Estonian Air.
