It's very convenient to get to/from Shenyang city centre. The nearest boading gate only meters from
security check, and the airport is full of shops and restaurants - chinese style. But it's sad to
see the airport is kind of showing it's age now - only completed in 2002 or so. I think this is due
to the fact that the construction quality is not up to standard. The new T2 is adjacent to the
abundant T1, which is now looks like a ghost airport terminal itself. Apart from that, SHE is an
airport which is being well used.

I would agree with the comments on poorly lit baggage area in arrivals.
It still appeared that there was some work going on, increasing the size
of the terminal. Very modern and clean easy access to city. Only
disappointment was price of food and beverages once airside - compared
with landside Chinese prices for sometimes same product.

Very clean and modern airport. New terminal added in 2002. New access highway to Shenyang.
Limited air traffic with few delays. Baggage area is poorly lit. Not sure why?
As the Chinese economy grows, who knows what will come of this airport. Right now it's a clean.
well run airport, albeit with little air traffic.
Interesting for an American to see Air Koryo planes and personnel at the airport.
