This is a small but tidy and well run airport that I suspect will increase in demand in near future. Everything is laid out well, there are modest food and drink facilities, clean toilets and small offices for several car hire firms (Hertz, Europcar, Sol etc.) An excellent starting point for exploring northern Spain. Currently Ryanair flies there twice a day from Stansted and I believe Liverpool. Good overall.

Quite a small modern airport which is only 15 minutes by taxi from the centre of Santander. Extremely limited facilities, i.e. one small cafe / bar and one small shop with a very limited choice. No facilities airside, not even a toilet. Insufficient seats airside.
