El Salvador Intl Airport by Miguel Flores

Great Hub. Plenty of stores to choose from and extremely clean facilities. The only drawback is the crowded airline counters which need to be expanded. El Salvador airport though, is TACA's major hub so most passengers get to enjoy an easy transfer and the amenities you find on the way to your next connecting flight. Most definitely the best airport in Central America. This is not my opinion but that of most business travellers from the region.

Good shopping, clean bathrooms and decent eating in gate area, crowded check in (to be expanded in a couple of years), crowded arrivals area, decent customs & immigration. Far from San Salvador, but very good highway + taxi service.
