I live in Fort Walton Beach and every time I need to fly out, I drive over to Pensacola. I prefer Pensacola Airport over Eglin AFB because of the wide selection of flights (Over 90 a day!) and more non-stop destinations (15 at PNS vs 5 at VPS), and not to mention the lower fares! It's worth the drive, every time.
