Lovely airport and great shops for an airport of this size. Paying a the counter for taxi's removes
the touts that descend on you in other places. Food options are limited but then who would want to
spend too long checking in too early and getting hungry when on such a lovely island

Used this airport recently. It is nice and efficient. Managed to retrieved luggage within 10 mins.
There are about 3 belts at the arrival hall. We booked a taxi at the taxi counter for M$24 for our
30 min journey to the hotel. At Langkawi, there is no meter in the taxi, they offer fixed prices
unlike KL. Check in at Air Asia counter fro flights to KL was quick. Passed through immigrations
within minutes. They offer an "only lady" immigration as well. Plenty of Arabs in the airport and
was told that it was their peak (holidays) season. There is a number of shops and food outlets.
Overall its a nice airport.

It's always a pleasure going through this airport. It is clean, spacious and easy to navigate.
Immigration and customs are always fast and efficient. There are a good number of duty-free shops
although not as many food outlets.

This airport is very pretty, clean and relaxed. It serves mostly
On arrival, having collected your luggage, there is a Maybank to the left of the concourse. This is
a good place to change money. Exchange rate is better that getting local cash from a UK source.

This airport is very pretty, clean and relaxed. It serves mostly
scheduled domestic flights but there seem also to be many private jets.
Taxis all have fixed fares to various beaches/resorts, and they are on
the pricey side.

Is this classified as an international airport? It is clean, green and
pleasant enough, but there is nothing here of international standard.
The canteen is just that - a far cry from a restaurant. Even a fast-food
joint would be lovely in comparison.

It seems strange to land in a 747 Jumbo which then parks beside a small 4 seater plane at the
terminal. Arrival procedure through immigration is extremely fast and stress free! You collect your
luggage within minutes. Departures are really easy too. But I would recommend timing things to have a
good look around the excellent shops, (there are great deals to be had) but don't have enough time free
to get hungry. The "restaurant" is pretty poor. That's the only thing that lets down an otherwise
perfect airport.

What a lovely little airport. Only four gates and you have to walk to the plane but spotlessly clean
and very friendly and efficient staff. A few nice shops to pass the time and a small but comfortable
business lounge.

If you would like something to eat after check in you can come out of the terminal and turn left to
The Helang Hotel, they have a good menu of snacks and full range of drinks. If you want to you can
eat your food by the poolside, just watch your time as it is relaxing there and never busy except
when the Langkawi Air Show is happening.

Langkawi International is a very clean and well organised airport, it is always a pleasure to arrive
and depart from here. Even the toilets are spotless. There is also a good selection of duty free
shops and a very helpful information desk.

Very pleasant airport, clean and airy. Not a big place, but sufficient for the passenger load.
Would be nice if there were more restaurants in the building. The sole restaurant there, is clueless
at food preparation.

Last year in November we arrived and departed for the first time from this airport. It is a rather
relaxed place to arrive and depart. When you arrive depending on the aircraft type the luggage is
within reasonable time on the luggage conveyor. The modern arrival - and departure hall is well
filled with a lot of well stocked shops.
