	Rating : 9/10 Queuing Cleanliness Facilities Recommended	Used this airport frequently this last year, last time September 15. It is a very nice airport, small, manageable. Cleanliness this time was improved compared to last time, facilities are good. True, check-in area is rather small, but with enough time before departure, I could just wander to the counter and check-in straight away. There are rumours that some international airlines might consider direct flights to and from Iloilo, I wish nothing more than that, just to bypass Manila's terminal 1.

The airport is brand new. It opened in 2007 replacing the old and dilapidated airport in the city centre. The pre- departure lounge is spacious and clean, with some pocket gardens. Full of daylight even in rainy season and the windows give a great vista of the mountains. The restaurant serves nice food, although I wish the airport authorities would install free WiFi. The check-in counter is getting stuffy and quite small but the queue is still tolerable. Comfort rooms are still in good shape yet needs proper maintenance to keep it looking brand new. The arrival area during high traffic days gets a bit congested. Parking security is not a problem although the toll is quite steep for countryside standards. Accessibility is also not a problem as shuttles, and cheaper mode of transportation.
