Stayed here despite previous problems as its connected to the terminals and I was arriving on a late flight. Bad smell in room traced to a glass of milk in the minibar which was so old it had solidified - obviously checked regularly! Carpet dirty in places, mould and stains in the bathroom. The bar area is far too small for the size of hotel. Hotel needs a refurbishment as it is currently trading on its convenience.

Although I stayed free using my loyalty points, I still paid for the evening meal. Our visit was brief - arriving 8pm and departing 4am. On arrival at the railaway station the fee bus which arrived promptly. Once in our room we showered and went down for a late dinner at Sampans. This was an excellent meal with good service. A short but good nights sleep was had, and we were soon checked out and on our way via the courtesy bus to terminal 3. Second time have used the hotel and recomeend it for early departures from Manchester. Only one point, the corridors to rooms are very dark and of a hideous brown and green colour.
