I was looking forward to my stay in the Yotel, and it didn't disappoint. I was a few minutes early for my pre-booked stay from midnight - 5am (for an early morning flight), so I couldn't use the check in machine, but the staff member in the galley/reception had no problem issuing me my card. The room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and great bed linens, and a great wet room. The space is very compact, with little room to move, but it is designed for sleeping and performs very well. It is well insulated for noise, and it was such a pleasure to be able to stroll to check-in for my flight, feeling refreshed and rested - not easy at 5am! (A tip: there is a room service menu, but if you are not looking for hot food I recommend just going to the M&S beside the train station in South Terminal).

A very busy hotel, with a lot of the airline staff using it as well. We were sent to the fourth floor to check in at the executive club (I am a Hilton Honors Gold member). Service good and a warm welcome. Evening meal average - waiter not too prompt with service. Morning breakfast excellent and the staff at breakfast time appeared happy to be there. The room was very nice. Had a TV in the bathroom to watch while enjoying a spa bath.

Le Sofitel is right by the North Terminal at London Gatwick. The hotel is expensive, as its right by the north terminal. It is about a two-three min walk to the north terminal,

The executive room I stayed in overlooked the runway. On the top floor, there is an executive lounge which you can use.
