Good hotel with easy access to and from the main terminal buildings at Melbourne Airport (not so, I
suspect such an easy access to the new budget terminal). The rooms are good with fine views over the
countryside of Victoria and also overlooking the main airport activity if facing north. I have found
little noise intrusion from aircraft operations the times I have stayed there. Oddly, however, I
have found the main restaurant area quite noisy, the food 'so-so' and tending to attract the odd
rough type - no idea why as its not a cheap hotel. The staff here can vary enormously in their
attitude. My calls to book a room were put on hold for ages and the check-in , initially, quite
abrupt (I had a bad day too!).
