A low-cost airline Star Ranking is applied using a detailed Quality assessment formula, to determine the airline's ability to deliver the "targeted" product and service quality levels that a customer expects when selecting to travel on a low-cost airline. Whilst product levels are different to full-service airlines, service delivery standards are still measured against the optimum Skytrax service quality scales.
